Arrangements for the Chrism Mass at the Cathedral not known at time of writing as the Queen’s Maundy Service will be taking place there.
Friday 2nd April: Good Friday
12 noon AH Good Friday Liturgy (Holy Communion)
12.30pm AH Family Service, Making of the Easter Garden
followed by Hot Cross Buns and drionks
1pm: Walk of Witness from Ault Hucknall to Scarcliffe
via Palterton
3pm: Stations of the Cross at Scarcliffe
7.30pm AH The Cross of Christ
Saturday 3rd April: Holy Saturday
10am Morning Prayer at AH
followed by Preparation of the church for Easter.
6pm Easter Liturgy at Scarcliffe
Sunday 4th April: Easter Day
9.30am Sung Communion at Scarcliffe *
11am Festival of Light and Sung Communion at AH
*Palterton will have their monthly Sunday Mass on the 11th April, the second Sunday of the month for this month only.
Mon 5th April: Easter Monday: Church open to view flowers 1—5pm
Worship at Scarcliffe 9.30am each Sunday but 1st of the month: Holy Communion except 3rd Sunday Morning Prayer.
except the First Sunday at the month when the service is at Palterton
Evening Worship at Scarcliffe: First Sunday of the month at 6pm
Watch out for current notices when a United Benefice service takes place shared by both congregations replacing normal services.
Ault Hucknall: always 11am every Sunday and usually Holy Communion.
Occasional Family Services for e.g. Mothering Sunday.
